Beyond the considerable expenses associated with repairing the infrastructure, this incident disrupted services for numerous customers for several hours.

I want to take this opportunity to emphasize a crucial point as we approach Dove Season and other outdoor activities. It is absolutely imperative that we all understand and spread the word: Do not shoot power or communication lines under any circumstances.
