Your Voice, Your Cooperative
Lumbee River EMC is a cooperative owned by the members we serve. As a member-owner, you have a voice in how the corporation operates. Every year we have an annual meeting of the members to elect Directors, hear and pass reports covering the previous fiscal year, and transact business that has properly come before the meeting.
The Annual Meeting is held in October of each year and typically includes the following activities:
Registration gifts for registering members
Election of director(s) whose terms are up for renewal or to fill vacancies on the board of directors
Review of the corporation's annual report
Discussion of new projects and activities
Open forum to discuss and address issues or concerns of the membership
Door prizes (after the corporate governance process)
The 81st Annual Meeting of Members was held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the headquarters facility at 6090 NC HWY 711, Pembroke, NC.

Lumbee River EMC is a cooperative owned by the members we serve. Every year we have an annual meeting of the members for the purpose of electing Directors, hearing and passing upon reports covering the previous fiscal year, and transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting (LREMC Bylaws, Article IV, Section 4.01).
