On Friday, May 2, Lumbee River EMC proudly hosted its 2025 Youth Awards Luncheon, a heartfelt celebration of academic excellence, perseverance, and community investment. The event welcomed this year’s scholarship recipients and their guests for a special afternoon of recognition and encouragement.

President and CEO Jon T. Locklear, alongside the LREMC Board of Directors and dedicated staff, greeted students and families with warm congratulations and inspiring words. The luncheon served not only as a recognition of each recipient’s hard work but also as a reflection of the cooperative’s enduring commitment to education.
