Accuracy Behind the Scenes 

From managing financial records to supporting reporting and compliance, our team works with precision to make sure everything is accurate and up to date. Their work helps ensure the cooperative operates efficiently and transparently. 

Mary Royal, Capital Credit Administrator, has been with Lumbee River EMC for 39 years. Throughout her time here, she has built strong relationships with both her coworkers and our members. Mary works closely with members to manage their capital credit accounts, process capital credit checks, and handle unclaimed funds. Her role helps ensure members receive the benefits of their cooperative membership. 

Candice Morrison, Plant Accountant, has been with the cooperative for nearly eight years. She focuses on reviewing work orders and ensuring that costs for materials, labor, and equipment are accurate. Candice enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies, and improving reports so that information is clear and reliable. 

“The accuracy in my work helps the cooperative manage resources efficiently and ultimately keep rates fair for our members,” Candice shared.
